About AID and AID-Troy chapter

AID, Inc. is a non-profit organisation working toward the upliftment of the underprivileged in India. It supports a wide variety of socio-economic development projects. Funds raised by AID, Inc. in the US and elsewhere are used to support literacy drives, self-employment initiatives, vocational training and such other activities that entail long term benefits.

AID, Inc. has several chapters around the world across the continents of Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. The chapters are involved in identifying, reviewing and supporting projects. The Troy chapter at RPI was conceived in early Spring 2002. AID-Boston is our buddy chapter.

This website is intended as a point of contact and information about AID, Inc. for both AID-RPI volunteers and those who happen to visit this site.
